Why is the 3rd movt of Haydn's Piano Trio No.39 called the 'Gypsy Rondo'?

Is it comparable to Mozart's Alla Turca? He called it that because Turkish music was popular at that time and the left hand imitates drums/symbols etc Or is it called the Gypsy Rondo for another reason?
