How do I politely tell my MIL to stop?

I personally would just stop taking her there. My MIL would CUT my daughter's hair. I let it grow out from birth, but then when my daughter turned two, MIL decided she didn't like her bangs being long, so she pulled out her scissors and just started cutting them with out my consent.
