Thick, white clumpy discharge?

I'm 45 and had a hysterectomy in 2001. I've had thick, white discharge that looks like there are clumpy white chunks in it. There isn't any odor or itching. I've had this problem for the last couple of years but since I was single it didn't bother me. I met my boyfriend 8 months ago and this is affecting my life now. The discharge coats his and resembles pancake batter. He itches afterward although I don't. He is getting grossed out by the way the stuff coats his and fingers. My gyn is clueless and all STD and infection tests come back negative. What is it and since my gyn doesnt know what it could be who would??
