Jehovah witnesses , If you are not to make images or idols why do you have?

At first I thought "What's the point?"Then as I read on I could see what the asker was saying. She is talking about Symbols of faith .Cross ,Menorah,Magan David (Star of David) and the Jehovah's Witness faith is symbolically represented by the Watchtower ,Wether they like it or not in the place I worked they called them "The Watchtower people"So the Watchtower is a symbol just like the other symbols mentioned.Because a religion has a symbol as the asker said it doesn't mean that they are worshiping the symbol.It may in some cases be used as a focus point or visual aid to focus .Whatever someone does it is their own person religious conviction and it is not the option for other individuals to condemn them or to tell them that their doing something that they shouldn't be doing.In the temple there were statues of emence angelic beings and it was the highest place of worship on earth at that time. No ,no one was worshiping them just because they were there.The same goes for painted gl windows in buildings wether a religious picture or a picture of a scenery with trees.Just because someone prays in the room does not mean that they are praying to the picture or image if there is one.The most importent thing is that they are praying and to whom they are praying.I agree that some denomanations don't make this clear enough to their people but that is there responsability and there is nothing wrong with showing someone the scriptures concerning image worship but it is not up to anyone to point out to someone or to imply that they are worshiping a image.What do we know about what that person is thinking?Only God knows.This may sound rediculas to you but it is a good anaoligy how some articals sound in the Watchtower to people of different faiths who although they have these things wouldn't dream of worshiping anyone but God.
