Problems with lace wig application ?

No matter what adhesive i use i cannot get rid of that pucked,wavy,ripple effect on my hairline after application.Ive tried stretching the lace a little and not stretching at all but it happens everytime.With tape or glue!!Someone please HELP!!How do i stop this from happining?????Thankyou .
