Crush likes my friend?

ok, well i really like this guy. we are fball managers together and we are both 15. we flirt all the time on the bus to games, practices, and games. i had a friend ask him out for me, but he said no, because he just got out of a relationship. then she asked him what he thought of me and he said that i was an awesome person to hang out with. then she asked him if he would ever date me and he said he didnt know. and then last night at the football game i found out that he liked my friend and not me. i REALLY liked him ALOT and that hurt me when i found that out. he is at his friends house this weekend and had his friend message me to tell me that he thought i was weird and the guy i like has been calling me a gaytard and being an azz hole. what do i do? help! please and thank you!
